Driver Assessments (New and Current Drivers)

Course Times: 60mins per candidate - 90mins per candidate

Driving Assessments are designed to assess potential new employees driving abilities, before an offer of employment is made. This assessment pin points areas of competence that need addressing, e.g. whether extra training is needed or other corrective measures. The assessment is ideally suited to identify high risk drivers as well as if a fleet is experiencing currently excessive wear and tear. This way you can hire the best candidate for the job.

COURSE CONTENT

A brief summary of the applicants driving experience
Driver confirms and signs they legally and medically fit to drive
Driver must be able to read (with glasses or contact lenses, if necessary) a car number plate
Familiarization of vehicle they will be driving on the assessment
An on the road driving assessment, covering a variety of roads and situations
Vehicle inspection
Vehicle Load restraints

LIGHT MOTOR VEHICLES

DURATION – 60 MINUTES PER CANDIDATE

HEAVY MOTOR VEHICLES

DURATION – 90 MINUTES PER CANDIDATE

COMBINAITON VEHICLES

DURATION – 90 MINUTES

COMPANIES To provide own vehicle for assessment

Once the assessment is completed a written report will be given to the employer.
