The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality Security and Safety department in partnership with Rescue Campaign NPO today joined the global community in observing the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims.
This day is dedicated to honouring the millions of people who have lost their lives or been injured in road traffic crashes, as well as supporting their families and loved ones.
This year’s theme emphasizes the importance of remembering those affected, supporting victims and their families, and taking action to prevent further road traffic deaths and injuries.
We urge governments, organizations, and individuals to work together to improve road safety and reduce the number of road traffic crashes.
